It's here!

My visa and passport arrived in the mail today!! Hooray!!! Now I can book a plane ticket and leave Canada whenever I want to! Right now my plan is to fly from here to Oslo on Tuesday and stay there for a few days (with a very extended relative, my mom's second cousin or something? I haven't met her yet, but she seems super nice and really excited for a Canadian cousin to be coming for a visit!). Then I plan on heading off to Denmark and Sweden for a few days each before I head to England for the start of school!

I am sooo excited for my trip! This will be a completely new adventure for me because I have never been outside of North America (and the only 2 times I've left Canada were to travel to the United States!), and I will be travelling on my own in countries I have never been to! I'm used to travelling on my own, but I've never done anything quite as unsupported as this (lucky thing I found that cousin in Norway to stay with!). It will be grand (even when I'm in 8 person hostel rooms, or sleeping on night-time train rides). I have so much I need to do before then!
