Dinner with an old friend

Today I went out for dinner with my longest friend (it sounds too strange to say oldest, because we're the same age, but she's the one friend I have that I can't remember not being friends with, we've known each other that long). I hadn't had a chance to have a good visit with her since last Christmas (even though we've both been here pretty much all summer, we just didn't get around to meeting up! Fail.), so it was really nice to catch up.

Since it was super rainy and cold today, I had the chance to crack out my tights! At least there's one positive to this miserable weather!

Also today, I finally got that zipper put in, so now all I need to do to be finished my project is put on a hook and eye! Photos will definitely be coming tomorrow, regardless of whether or not that hook and eye get in!

Here you can see how my skirt is actually pretty see-through. It's flowy enough that I would plan on wearing it with shorts or tights underneath anyway, so it doesn't matter that it's a little see-through.
